I put together a new PC with the following components:
ASRock Mainboard B450 Pro 4
Be Quiet Power Supply Power Pure 11
(Inno3D) Nvidia GeForce 2070 Super
AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
HyperX memory 16GB
Previously had an Intel i5 and the Nvidia GeForce 970
I have now tested Fortnite with the new PC and have to find out that I have to set everything to low to be able to play I also have to skip ray tracing because otherwise I only have between 11 - 30 FPS instead of 60 FPS (4k) on the old I could set everything up and it looked great and was fluid. In addition, the new AMD is really loud, I think the graphics card is also very loud in longer operation, I can hear it through my headset.
Why is it now that the new one is so much worse? I'm quite annoyed about the high price and such a result.
The problem is the resolution. With the gtx 970 you can't play fortnite in 4k with 60 fps, I know that firsthand because I still own such a gpu myself.
The box cooler from AMD is really quite loud, but it does what it should.
If you want to have better performance with fortnite, I recommend you to play in 1080p or in 1440p, then you can also make the graphics settings higher
B450 Pro4 with R7 3800X…
Can you do a benchmark or try another game?
That moment when the processor is too loud😂
Should normally run on Epic with no problems. I have an RTX 2070 Super and Ryzen 7 2700x and it runs with the highest settings on 4k at 60-70 FPS
