Which graphics card is better if I want to play at 240hz and have an Intel i7 9700k? Mainboard Msi mpg z390 pro carbon ac. Play mainly Rainbow Six siege and fortnite. Which one is more suitable

tr

The 2080 is better for obvious reasons. This is only a question of the price and how much power consumption (= heat development in the housing, i.e. Also in your room and also in midsummer) you are willing to accept.

So

The other answer below or above me is complete nonsense.

So… Let's get started: don't buy the i7 9700K. It has eight cores, but only eight threads. An i9 9900K not only brings more power but also significantly more future security. If you can wait a bit longer, buy an i7 10700K.

Since you have a 240hz monitor, I think you are playing in FullHD with low graphics settings. That's why your graphics card will never be at full capacity because your CPU, even if it's an i9 9900K, limits it. This is also the reason why you will get exactly 0% more pictures per second with an RTX 2080 Super compared to an RTX 2070 Super.

I own an i9 9900K with an RTX 2070 Super, so I know what I'm talking about.

Ja

So that's how

i9 9900k and an evega rtx 2070 super xc ultra. Mainboard Msi mpg z390 pro carbon ac, housing chieftech gp 02b op stallion 2 window kit, water cooling Enermax LiqFusion 360mm and power supply Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 850watt Gold. Does it suit?

So

That is a good configuration. Only the power supply is a bit exaggerated, I have a 650W power supply from be Quiet with an i9 9900K and an MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming X Trio! Which is enough.

By the way, I have the same mainboard!

Most of the time in Fortnite I get 240FPS when I set to "unlimited", often over 400FPS. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about Rainbow Six Siege.
