I want to buy a M.2 SSD and prepare everything for it.
Now installed are 2 HDDs.
On the one is only Windows installed, I want to change this through the M.2 and install Windows on it, while I now with the old Windows HDD my games and files such as videos, pictures, GTA 5, Fortnite, etc. Runterlade and can use the files even after the upgrade to the M.2.
How do I do that without the data being stored on the Windows HDD?
Keyword cloning (HDD on SSD)
HDClone can be used e.g. Or any other clone software too.
Otherwise you do not come around at a new installation of the programs around.
Then partition the SSD on 2 partitions, and then clone the two hard drives on the two partitions of the SSCD. The bootable first. Then the computer sees afterwards the same condition as it is now, and allw registry entries of the installed programs vote further.
If only the system is HDD on one, simply clone (1: 1) or make an image and restore on the M.2. All paths remain the same if you do not touch the second plate. So should work.
