Problem without meaning, unrealistic?

So, in short, my CPU overheats at ROBLOX, but not at CS: GO or Fortnite which for me unrealistic or has no sense. As you know, Roblox does not ask for much. I also tried to uninstall the ROBLOX player and download it again, it did not work. With ROBLOX it only takes 2 minutes playing time, then the PC has already switched off.

TEMPERATURES

CS: GO: 42 - 48 °
Fortnite: 48 - 51 °
ROBLOX: 63 - 70 °

PROCESSOR

AMD FX-8300

BTW

I do not know all that well, a few more info.

Side fan - hot air that is blown into the case // cold air that is blown out of the case
Fan from the processor - you can feel almost nothing, hot air otherwise
Could the processor be overheating on the power supply?
PC is open, without covering up
If overheating of the processor could be due to the power supply, there's a lot of dust inside the power supply.

Just because a game does not have very high hardware requirements does not necessarily mean that it gets fewer CPU cycles. Could it be that CS: GO and Fortnite limit the FPS with your GPU and thus also reduce the CPU load, while Roblox renders with hundreds of FPS and at the same time pushes your CPU to its limits.

Your power supply can't overheat the CPU. Power consumption is controlled by the CPU + motherboard itself. Dust in the power supply has no causal influence on the temperature of other components in the PC. Only the power supply itself is minimally bad internally cooled.

Sounds only really clear that you should replace the heat transfer paste between CPU and CPU cooler.

pa

Then it should be right on the thermal grease, because it is so hot that you can't touch it.

Di

Well, she should indeed conduct the heat xD So you have to wait with, until your PC has cooled.

Sounds primarily only after an easy-to-fix cooling problem of the CPU itself, so is not bad.

pa

How do you fix that? And if it is not because of the thermal paste, what could it be?

Di

Either the heat is not properly directed to the CPU cooler, or your cooler may be underachieving, then you need a slightly better one.

Take a look on how-to videos on youtube, there are thousands to xD

pa

Thanks for your help, I have already solved it by exchanging the CPU fan and the aluminum or heating between CPU fan & CPU.

pa

I'm thanking you for trying to help. Thanks for the time you spent.

I also give you your thank you in general.

Returned again and again
Good formulation
Time for me
