I used MSI Afterburner to display the measured values of my system (ingame).
There I saw that my processor was chugging between 40 and 50% and the graphics card only got 50% load!
Here is my system in detail:
AMD Ryzen 5 2600x with wraith prism rgb cooler (looks chic.)
G.Skill ddr4 16gb 3000mhz cl16 dualkit
ASRock B450 pro4
MSI Ventus GTX 1660 ti xs oc
2x240gb ssd + 1tb hdd + 2tb hdd
be quiet! Pure Power 11 cm 500 watts
Maybe it's because of the game? I gambled on Fortnite, but the game is known for its high single-core power requirements. (With high singlecore I mean that it runs better if you have high singlecore performance)
Will it look better with other games?
Can I set something that the graphics card always runs at 100% or always tries at full power to tickle out the last fps?
Do you happen to have VSYNC in Fortnite?
Because your values sound more like nothing than limited and the game simply capped the FPS.
And Fortnite is more known for not being particularly demanding.
It would be interesting to know what settings to play on and how much FPS you get.
How warm do your components get?
In games up to a maximum of 60 degrees, actually relatively cool
No, that's the problem, vsync is over, I already know my way around, but I want the system to get the most out of it! I mean if both just chug at 40%, there has to be more!
The temperatures are okay
How many FPS do you have?
Isn't VSYNC activated accidentally via Geforce Experience?
