I have a new graphics card since yesterday, namely the MSI GTX 1050 ti 4GB Gaming X. This graphics card is one of the best in its model, so I think it should support 4k as well. I would be interested to know if I can play games like Fortnite, LS17, Bus Simulator, BF3, etc. And movies (eg. Netflix) in 4k, even if I only have a normal monitor (say no 4k monitor)? I've heard that 4k only somehow goes from a resolution of 3000, if that's true, I do not know. That's why I ask for your experience / help!
P.s my built-in hardware: I5-6600k, Crucial 240GB SSD, Be quiet 530W power supply, 750GB HDD, ASUS Z 170 Pro gaming motherboard, be quiet Tower fan, MSI GTX 1050 ti 4GB gaming X
Which is why I think that should also support 4k.
She does
I would be interested if I play games
She does not have enough power for that
and movies stream
That can be the card.
even if I have only a normal monitor (say no 4k monitor)
Then not.
What does it bring you to show films in a resolution that your monitor can't show.
4k is just the effective ad for a screen resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. If your monitor does not resolve that high, it just can't render 4k.
If your monitor can't handle 4K, then you can't use it.
You do not need to activate anything, that I.D. R goes automatically or in the display settings.
But the 1050Ti is certainly not among the best and is in the low-low low-end gaming area.
This does not even create almost any game in 4K.
Netflix 4K goes with the appropriate monitor.
So if you want to play in 4K, you definitely have to add a few hundred Euro to the graphics card.
A 1050ti is often not enough, even with Full HD.
That with the monitor has already been explained.
OK,
This graphics card is not a part of the best graphics card in their series
if your monitor does not have a 4K resolution, you can't use 4K synonymous
your graphics card would not be enough for games like Fortnite etc. In 4K anyway
She does support this resolution already, only she is too weak for 4K for the vast majority of games. You'd have to spend a lot more, and you'd also have to buy a 4K resolution screen.
The whole thing is not worth it for you, so stay with your current screen.
4k to stream is easy with the map. Gaming rather not like that. There's the video here:
However, 4k output will not do you any good if your monitor does not have a 4k resolution.
