After I bought a new GPU (RX 580 8GB) my motherboard broke down, so I ordered a new one and that the ASUS P8Z68-V LX then I had my Windows still on the hard drive and could still access my games but when i started fortnite my PC always crashed either with the bluescreen WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR or CLOCK_WATCHDOG_ERROR then I tried reinstalling Windows 10 through my DVD but then came the WHEA error message during the installation,
Have repeated this several times but get my pc ned out,
I ask for serious help I'm so desperate.
Post it better in the chip de forum or on hardwareuxxx, there you will find more help.
Thank you
With pleasure. There's hardly anything worse than if your own technology fails and you can't even find the fault. I feel you. Hope you can gamble again soon 😁
Annotation! For new components (Graka or motherboard) or you should ALWAYS reinstall windows. And that's the first boat. Otherwise, there are always such "errors".
Only you can do without a new installation, if only the power supply is / was replaced. That does not itch. Otherwise always a MUST.
"And that with the FIRST boot. Otherwise, there are always such" errors "."
As a rule, it works without synonymous. Bluescreens because of something like that are very rare. And with the mentioned error message actually completely ruled out, if then the would crash with a DRIVER Bulescreen.
This indicates a physical hardware defect
I would say two ways:
Broken graphics card
Too weak power supply with missing or non-functioning protection circuits
In the blue I would tend to second.
Which power supply do you currently have? (Model)
FSP RA Raider 750
How can everything break now, that provokes differently! Only mainboard then power supply?
Ok, apparently I crashed my power supply when I wanted to cut the cable ties… Great! Really great! Jz I can't gamble again, has to save money. Wow I'm only 15th Faith save directly on Ryzen Upgrade: New CPU, Ram, motherboard, etc
Rather only power supply and consequently the board would have been my tip
Did you really cut a cable? If that's just it, that should be soldered.
Not cut off but with the knife, this plastic is broken something I'm not sure if that is exactly it, because it is because the wrong thing is installed wrong?
Or the power supply has failed under load of the new graphics card and the voltage was out of specification and the old board did not like it that much.
But is only a guess what could be, a defective graphics card would theoretically in question.
When cutting the vein, it is important to mention that the copper was damaged and what the vein was. The free-flowing copper wire should not touch any other metal parts should be understood by itself.
If the copper is only minimally or not at all damaged it should cause no problems (thereby!)
Which copper / wire?
My PSU has 750W and Graka needs at least 500
