For me, Fortnite uses 70-80% of my processor and 90% of my GPU have around 100-140 FPS… But would like to stream and then the stream is because of the 90-95% cpu utilization. My processor: Intel i5-8400 3.9ghz is used with me. GPU: GTX 1050 oc 2gb
Well then only helps an upgrade or turn down the setting or lower the monitor setting.
Card like CPU are not very good for streaming. What you can do, as has been said, is to limit the frames.
I would recommend limiting the game to 60 fps and only streaming in 30 fps.
You can limit the framerate in the game.
Or set the process priority of your streaming program in the taskmanager higher than that of the game.
Alternatively you change the codec, to about NVENC, then this is encoded via the graphics hardware. Or Quicksync, then this is encoded via the cpu hardware.
Hardware coding is hardly used on your hardware, but has a lower quality than software encoding. You would probably have to set the bitrate higher in order to achieve the usual quality (with nvenc it looks pretty good at around 5000kbit).
Stream now with my graphics card with 60FPS and 720p everything works perfectly thanks!
One question for you, the day before yesterday I changed from a GTX 950 to a GTX 1050 mini mini, with my GTX 950 I had a CPU utilization of 70-90%, with my GTX 1050 I still have 70-90% utilization, but Now I also have fps drops when I fighte, build, … But in my GTX 950 I had not so blatant fps drops in my GTX 1050 ti
CPU: i5 7400 3.0GHz
Limit framerate can help, then the framerate should be a bit more stable. Just set the limit a bit below your normal frame rate. So if you normally have around 120 fps maybe try a limit of 100 or something.
I just do not know if fortnite framerate has limits, suppose yes?
So if I'm not limiting, I've got 150-170 fps, I've always had it limited to 120 fps, but that does not bring that much, I still have fps drops, you can forty in Fortnite 60,120,144,160,165,240 fps limit
Do you play in full screen? Sometimes that helps.
Maybe put the priority of the game in the task manager higher (on high I would ask).
I play fortnite full screen and wide (1280x1080), how exactly do I do that with priority?
In the taskmanager, under details, with a right click on the process.
Is there any disadvantages if I put that on high? Eg more power of the GPU or something? ^^
Nope, preferably only the game over other applications.
It says that it can lead to an instability of the system
Does it help if something changes in the Nvidia system control?
I get a message: the process could not be completed
If you want to change the priority? Or what?
You need admin rights for that, I think, maybe that's it.
And I mean regedit in the last comment, as a correction. But that was just a note anyway.
One more question, I do not have a bitlocker, that's bad
No, that does not matter.
