Christmas is coming up soon and I'm about to buy presents for my family. But I have difficulties at the moment a suitable gift for my stepbrother with autism (10 years).
He is interested in games like Fortnite, like most children of his age. I'm a pedagogue myself and I do not really want to promote that (I played video games myself), but he does not like that, he often has tantrums while playing.
So I do not want to give him a PSP card. Do not want to buy him a boring gift "extra for children with autism", because it will not appeal to him anyway. It should be something that other guys of his age would be happy about. I mean, it can be a computer game, but if it's a game that's not too boring, it should not be too fast like Fortnite.
Hope someone can help
The best you ask him is what he would wish if he could wish for anything. Then you're on it
Maybe a trip to Phantasia.Land or something
That's what our son and I, haha (both not autistic) liked to play. Think that could fit.

Good suggestion to ask directly. I'll ask him, just assume that the shower will tend towards computer games. But let's see.
An outing would also be an idea, but I think there's more of something long-term that may distract him from the Playstation play.
but thanks for the answer
How should we know that? We do not know him!
What are his interests? Does he like to read? Does he like listening to music? Does he like playing Lego? Does he like painting?
That's very cool, that's what I played with my son
Thanks for the suggestion. Know the game from my kindergarten (bin educator), I also enjoy it a lot. But I'm afraid that once he plays the game, stashed on his shelf next to the other hundred board games and dusty there.
Still a good game for a facility.
As I said, like most other children he is his age. "Unfortunately" looks too much Youtube and plays mainly Playstation. On other things he shows little enthusiasm. Therefore, I'm also looking for something that will distract him, I say "flash" and sometimes distracts from the Playstation
Yes, I actually had the fear that he has the 40 tasks (cards) until the second holiday through and I mean that respectfully. But then it would have fulfilled its purpose. And probably everyone will join in, then it's nice too.
