Brother addicted to Fortnite?

I had a question for all siblings / family / friends who play Fortnite and have problems with it.

I (F / 13) have been very annoyed with my brother (M / 10) lately. Even though my brother is only 10, my father allowed him to play this game. However, it turned out to be the biggest mistake ever made.

It is now a burden for the whole family. He no longer comes to lunch / dinner, just sits there with a laptop or Nintendo Switch in his hand and just gambles.

On the other hand, I'm currently homeschooling and my mother is home office (my father goes to work).

Which means for me and my mother we need rest to concentrate.

It just doesn't work thanks to my brother.

He doesn't behave either, is snotty, insults everyone in this Haud and just gives off a negative mood. Even in school he doesn't make any effort and is sometimes worse than me (I: high school, 8th grade, he: elementary school, 4th grade).

All he cares about is this stupid game.

Does anyone have a solution because I'm slowly losing my mind.

You can also ask your father about an internet block with him, is better then only he has no internet anymore. The two things are the worst that can happen to a gamer when they are addicted. It also helps to knock in a password. Your brother will have a tremendous reaction at first, will get used to it.

There's the possibility to turn the already created account into a child account. The game time and other things can then be set there.
