The Playstation of my friend does not work anymore. He did an update with Fortnite and then it just went out someday. Does anyone know what you can do?

What does it mean it does not work anymore? If the fans still run at the start button, the LED on top of them still lights up, does it emit a beep? And if so how do you describe the beeping?
