As the answer here already says, it is partly related to the servers, but partly it also depends on where the servers you are playing are. You will play on European servers, but it depends on where in Europe the servers are hosted. The closer the server is to your place the better the ping. I also know a good example of what you called it, in Rainbow 6 victories I have a 20 to 30 ping and in Rocket League 60 to 80.
