Got the Gigabyte RTX 2060 OC with 2 fans. If I As Fortnite games, and frame rates to unlimited place (btw with everything except for shadow on epic) then the temperatures rise up to 84 degrees. Normal or bad? (Case if necessary: coolermaster masterbox lite 5 rgb)
The graka gives EVERYTHING to get out every FPS, my tip: limit FPS so you reduce volume and heat (possibly even electricity)
I limit FPS to 60, but screentearing comes on. Of course I do not want that
85 degrees under maximum load is a normal good value for a video card. Only from ~ 100 degrees it would be critical.
The graphics cards try to keep the fan as quiet as possible and do not turn up fully when the graphics card is still cool enough.
That's why always capping a level above 60, with Fortnite that would be as far as I know 120fps, then no tearing should be more visible.
84 ° C are already in the upper range, especially for a RTX, which is relatively strong. However, it is relatively normal. My old GTX 770 was under load at a constant 84 ° C and 100% fan speed.
