Why are so few PUBGs playing?

I feel like the only one in my school who is playing PUBG. Everyone else is just playing Fortnite, why is that?

Fortnite costs nothing

receives regular updates

the servers work

the game itself works

hardly bugs

well optimized on all platforms

look for one too.
