Windows 10 needed?

I have Windows 7 on my current computer and have just gained it because I'm a gamer who plays games such as Fortnite, Cod, Apex… Do I ask myself if the computer is good is Windows 10 relatively necessary or does it run better? Since I'm not sure whether I should buy Windows 10 now because I'm happy with the seventh anyway. But I don't know if that's good for gaming 🤷♂️.
