Can't talk in Fortnite since Season 11?

I haven't been able to talk in Fortnite since season 11 (games on XBox). I do not know why that is. I've tried everything but it just doesn't work. Now it says recently that I'm still in an XBox Live Chat although I'm not, but I don't think I can put it back either. Somehow it says that I should press the X button to switch to Fortnite chat, but the button doesn't work. I hope someone can help!

The only thing that helps is uninstalling.

Don't play Fortnite so I don't know what you can set in the game.
