The player base is of course not great either, but the game itself can't help it.

I can agree with that. That's why I hate voice chat and PvP in general. A win is rewarded with a teabag - why provoke?

Unpopular opinion: I actually think Fortnite is good. Above all, building and editing, etc. Just make the game unique and it almost never gets boring. The only thing that bothers is that there are some annoying little children who just shout into the micro and spray you all the time
