New processor or GPU?

I get the moment at almost the lowest settings when there's a lot going on, just 90-110 fps, but I would like to reach a constant 144, no longer needs to be. Have immoment ne radeon rx 580 sapphire nitro + special edition, and an i5 4670 on turbo 3.8ghz. Now I play Fortnite / Destiny and a lot is said that these games need a good CPU rather than GPU. Now my question, should I buy a new gpu or cpu? And maybe recommendations for 144 fps. LG Louis

"When there's a lot going on," the fps always drop. A card that delivers at least 144fps in such situations costs a lot more.

I would almost stick to this configuration, which sounds very balanced to me.

I can't say anything about Destiny, but Fortnite is anything but CPU-heavy. When I played that back then, my CPU was 16% full, so it was a joke. The CPU should also be enough for Destiny. Therefore I would upgrade the graphics card, which is not really necessary for Full HD.

Rather put some unnecessary details like post processing, antialising, etc., and everything is going great.

If you want to upgrade: View the workloads with MSI Afterburner

Your CPU is not that good, it doesn't do enough. You could buy a used i7, that would be the cheapest option. I7 2600k or 4790k, the last one being too expensive, with only a little extra power and significantly higher temperature, compared to the 2600K. So you don't need a new board or a new ram. Maybe you could buy a bigger fan and run OC.

Of course, if you have enough money, you'd better invest in a new system. 🙂

An upgrade is nonsense, because your current PC is enough.

Or if you want to upgrade by accident, I advise you to buy a used i7 4790k.

Strange for me the cpu is almost always 100% busy

And I have everything set to low, only 1920x1080 and the pc on performance.

Hmm, that's strange. At least in Fortnite, it shouldn't be that way. What about idle?

If it is only the case in the game, then a new CPU will probably be due first
