I play a few games on my office computer a lot, so I decided to buy a graphics card. My decision was then to buy a GTX 1050 TI because there's no power connection available.
Now I'm playing some Fortnite with the PC.
I installed MSI Afterburner to see how the CPU (i7 4770S) is doing with the graphics card.
Initially on low settings (3D resolution 50% + performance mode)
The graphics card had about 60 percent load and so did the CPU.
This means that the PC is not at full performance although no limits (Fps limit or similar) have been set.
I'm playing at 1080p and I'm aiming for most of the FPS so it would be important to get the maximum out of my setup.
Is there a way to increase the CPU / GPU load in order to achieve more fps?

Fortnite will most likely not (be able to) fully utilize all 8 threads with the mentioned CPU, especially since you also play in performance mode according to your own statements. (The PM reduces the CPU load again)
If only 2 - 3 threads of your processor continuously show about 90 to 95 to sometimes 100% load, this is definitely correct. These are the main performance threads for geometry - preparatory work, AI, and physics of the game. Any help threads depend on the performance of these 2-3 main threads.
So I suspect a CPU limitation in the single core performance of this game.
