Is it normal that my game (fortnite)
At less than 144 fps with a 144 hz monitor I mean that it does not feel so smooth.
Jo is normal, it's just because you get less pictures per second to face what feels just at the usual 144 Fps "uncomfortable" or so.
Thank you very much
144 FPS has nothing to do with 144 HZ.
That's not because you have less than 144fps. That's because of the variable. Permanently 120fps z.b. Would be absolutely i.o. - but if the fps fluctuate greatly between z.b. 100 and 144 - that stands out in any case. That's why it makes sense to use the fps intelligently.
So for example. If you have an average of 120-140 fps in 10 minutes of gameplay and a drop to 100 fps.
Then you would have two sensible points to lure. 120fps or 100fps. I would lure to 120fps and buy the one rubbish because not the rule, because more fps are more important to me. But if even that bothers you, you'll be 100 and happy. In the next game then haste 140-200fps / then had to do practically garnix and then in the game because of me 60-80fps / then you just lure to 60fps.
Important for a nice game experience is how steady the fps are not how many you have. Which is better, of course, better - but an erratic framerate is definitely uglier than a steady even if there are usually less fps here. An exception there would be - if you clearly more fps than the refreshrate your monitor, then more is practically always better.
