I have an MSI GL72M 7REX gaming laptop. In the laptop are an Intel Core I7, GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti and DDR4. Although the laptop is actually pretty good, almost no games run smoothly on the thing. Fortnite, GTA 5, Overwatch are not running smoothly. It runs at 60-120 FPS and then I have a still image for 1-2 seconds, sometimes longer, then it is 8-11 FPS and then it goes up again. That's how it goes all the time. It's unplayable. The temperature is between 70-80 degrees.
What kind of Core i7 is it exactly? And on which settings do you have your games?

You have no idea either. It says the chipset, you say the HM175 is a CPU from the 100 series. The chipset is still quite new, GTA5, Fortnite and Overwatch also run smoothly on a GTX1050ti, it's not that a GTX1050ti is a bad free card.
People who say a GTX1050 or 1050ti is bad are wrong. In my experience, GTA for 60hz gaming runs smoothly on it and you can play current games with it. The low-end is a GT1030, not a GTX1050ti.
Once you've installed GeForce Experience, uninstall it.
Have a look at Google for "1050Ti GTA V", the first result is an average FPS of 47. A 1050 Ti can currently still be used, but not with such high settings.
And a processor with 4c / 8T is of no use to you if the GPU holds you back
