Epic Games Launcher: Error Writing Installation Information?
I recently tried installing Fortnite. Well and then the following message kept coming:
I've also tried to uninstall things to save space. I then freed 32GB more memory, but the message is still coming. When I press repeat nothing happens. When I press Cancel the following message appears:
Nothing happens when you press Finish.
Does anyone have any idea what to do so that I can playably install Fortnite?

Fortnite I think needs almost 90 GB. Your 40 gb are not enough.

Yes. Can you specify during installation.
Well, that's the problem. If I press 'Download' on the website, something is downloading. If I press it, this message comes directly from the original question. I honestly don't know how I can get it on the other hard drive. I don't even get into the menu where I can select the storage location.
You can have the Launcher and Fortnite on two different hard drives without any problems. I have it that way too
But how do I do that? If I just move the installer to a folder on another hard drive, the message still comes, even though I have 500 GB free there. When I open the installer on C, the error message comes directly, without being able to choose where I want to install what.
I don't know what to do next.
