Do you think Fortnite is more of a total gruesome shooting game, or rather "it can be done"?
I think it's just a normal game like any other. As with every game, there are different opinions that represent different people.
Is a solid shooter with a very good gameplay.
Regular updates where the world is changed, new items are introduced, many events, unique features such as building during the fight. Sure it's so successful, but I don't play it myself because I'm more of a single player type.

All who say cruel have guaranteed not played it yet. Ego Shooter players find this rather childish. Which doesn't mean it's bad. The in-game chat is a lot worse than the game itself.

Fortnite is certainly not cruel. That's how I would describe games like Battlefield (V) and GTA V.
