Short-term ping drops despite normal 22ms?

Hi people for about 3-4 days, I feel so that I'm teleported back at crossout or fortnite more often or just keep going straight and still controlled to the right. I have now made a ping test, which looks quite stable and devices are connected in the evening 4 smartphones and morning 2. But plays no role because the laggs occur almost regularly every 10 - 30 sec. At crossout rather less but still available. With the smartphones, there are never any "ping drops" and I already unplugged my NETGEAR WNA 300 Wireless Adapter and brought it back in but nothing. Router also on and off but without success.

PS: We have 2 routers but the ping drops occur on both. So I do not suspect that it is located on the wireless.

How is your CPU temperature? When the CPU overheats, it often starts to stutter, which leads to just such problems.

Ping Drops are something good. Having a falling latency in between does not matter.
Peaks or spikes would be bad.

You can sometimes connect your computer directly to the LAN, then you can see if it is on the wireless or not

Al

Maybe try a LAN cable. Believe me, it will pay off

Ox

My CPU temperature is relatively low when playing 50 ° -60 °

Ox

Unfortunately no lan cable at hand

Al

Just buy one!

20 euro for a 30m long lan cable is not much.

I always had nen 20-40er ping in fortnite, with cable a 0-20 pin

Ox

Mean peaks or spikes?

Ox

I'll get one for me and then I'll give it a try

ro

That's what you have. But no drops. Drops go down (aka improve the ping)

ro

Use LAN instead of Wi-Fi. Look at the result.

Ox

Oh yes, then I have spikes and peaks

Ox

Will I

Ox

I'll do it 👍
