As far as the epic update rates are concerned, it's really garbage. On Steam 2mbs and Epic 700kbs: /

I also had to load older updates. The download rate is not high and the progress bar is totally wrong. The whole download process runs on Steam, for example, much better and more logical than Epic Games.
