I was looking for my nephew while I was playing, I entered his nickname in all variations but always "failed". How can I play with him?

On the PS4 go to "Friends" then "Search" then enter the name of your nephew and now send a friend request (not the Fortnite name but Ps4 name)

Maybe if you have the same console you can add it or maybe if it has an Epic Games account add it via the username.
