Especially for Fortnite, if you play with low graphics settings, Intel is significantly stronger than all comparable Ryzen CPUs.
So I strongly advise you to wait for the i5 10600K or i7 10700K. The next generation of Intel will be released in May, probably even on May 20, as you can order Z490 mainboards on various pages from this date.
If you don't have a 240hz monitor, the Ryzen 5 3600 is more than enough.
