Why is it always with me at Fortnite in the beginning?

I have a problem with Fortnite gaming, that I always start at the beginning when I land, that it is very heavy, the graphics are super bad and I can hardly move, which is why I'm always killed at the beginning. I even have an internet booster next to my monitor, but I don't think that helps. Can someone give me some tips on how I could improve it?

Put Fortnite on an SSD. That helps tremendously.
