I currently have a 1050-Ti graphics card and 1Tb HDD, would it be more worthwhile to get an AMD Rx 5700 or 1TB SSD? And brings more SSD also more performance / FPS in games such as Fortnite?

Or

SSD only brings faster loading times and lower volume. The price lies between the two components. Worlds (unless you take a PCIe 4.0 M.2, but not even then)

Take a 250GB SSD and the 5700, the small SSDS are now thrown behind.

An SSD only brings better, i.e. Faster loading times, but nothing more. This does not change the frame rate. A stronger graphics card, on the other hand, can give a decent frame rate boost. But it also depends on the rest of the system, i.e. The processor can keep up with the graphics card.

I have a Ryzen 7 2700 and will tend towards the graphics card.

Se

Jo, that goes well together.

Is a 250gb ssd better than a 1tb hdd?

ki

Okay thanks

Or

It is faster but smaller. The system and some important programs come on the SSD. Large files on the HDD for which the access time is irrelevant, e.g. Music or movies.

ki

So should i put games on the ssd?

Si

You have 250GB of storage. An SSD is only faster in terms of loading times. So it makes no difference whether you have a 1tb SSD or HDD, only the SSD loads it faster.

ga

Yes, put Windows on it and if you still have room for a game. AND the things that are on the SSD will load much faster. From fast response times to much faster game loading, an SSD brings a lot. You only get more power, i.e. More FPS, with an SSD.

With a new graphics card (RX 5700) you have more power. The SSD mainly shortens the loading times.
