PC good enough for Fortnite with 144 Hz?

Is this PC good enough for Fortnite if you want to play at 144 Hz on low settings?

Ex

In itself, the performance is enough. The parts are the bottom drawer. Therefore I would advise you against the PC.

Would you build your PC yourself?

Gu

How bad are the parts? I don't know me well. For this reason, I will not assemble myself.

Ex

The power supply is very old, you can no longer buy a B9 agr and only 400 watts, but the big problem is the mainboard is just very cheap, no voltage converter coolers, only two rambanks, etc.

That you don't know your way around doesn't play a roll, would you like to be able to do it?

Ro

The configuration is okay. How much does the part cost? Under no circumstances should you spend more than 600 euro.

Gu

700 euro with Windows 10 and additional hard drive

Gu

I'm not particularly interested in technical things to be honest😬

Ex

Ok is honest, then I don't have to teach you. How much does the PC cost in this configuration?

Gu

I don't know my way around very well, but somehow it feels like it is a pretty bad configuration 🤔

la

That's because you don't know your way around…

but the monitor only makes 75 Hz.

Gu

Yes, you could be right😂

la

the cpu is at 3100, which of course had to blow up to 4ghz.

Gu

With assembly + Windows 10 and additional hard drive 700 euro

Gu

Ah okay would this PC be superior to the other in terms of performance?

Ro

Under no circumstances should you buy the PC for 700 euro! Even if you don't know your way around, you should assemble the PC yourself. With the right advice or the right configuration, this is not a problem. You also don't need to worry about doing something wrong / broken when assembling. I have the same PC with the same configuration (only a different hard drive) than the one above (back then for around 530 euro). I'm currently considering upgrading to this ➡️

PC. I know my way around and would advise you to invest the 100 euro more straight away. This turns a pretty bad PC into a really good one! It is so much better!

Ex

So that's pretty expensive, there would be a better CPU and more memory, maybe even a better graphics card.

Have a look at Hardwaredat, because the PC has no more performance but better parts

Gu

Yes okay I will inquire, unfortunately I'm just at the limit with my money at 700 euro and would then rather upgrade afterwards

Gu

Thanks a lot.

la

The calculator itself costs 400 euro

with my config the graphics card is better because the xfx in the other permanently leads to bluescreens and the ssd is twice as big for me

the 400s sys from me is tailored to fortnite 144hz.

you just have to overclock the 1200 12nm.

Gu

Okay thanks.

Ex

I have a look yes it works, better mainboard, CPU, graphics card and power supply for 698 euro:

If you change your mind, you can let me know

Gu

I will probably just order the PC and see if it is sufficient for my purposes, if not I have 14 days to send it back and, if necessary, test another (your?) Configuration

Ex

Then you have to assemble my config yourself. Incidentally, I forgot to mention more memory

Ro

Okay… It's just a little stupid to upgrade. I have now optimized the configuration again in Geizhals: https://geizhals.eu/?cat=WL-1608764

You can use a worse graphics card or less memory, but that somehow makes little sense…

Gu

Yes I saw it

Lo

You will probably be able to reach the FPS number. However, if you play Competetive (Endgame = FPS Drops) I would advise you to assemble the PC yourself for the money. This will give you a better PC for the same money.
