I M15 (almost 16) completely miss this Youtube time from 2016 to 2017. That was still really nice. Was there 11-12 and worst Leon Machere and Apo Red Fan and then that with the 24 hours in… It was sooo legendary. Otherwise YouTube was somehow much more interesting and not just Fortnite and Pokemonpacks and so on… Nowadays there are only boring reactions, interesting YouTubers are deleted and the highlight is when a well-known YouTuber (everyone's allowed) gets something heavy again. In 2016/17 everything was better ☹ are you the same? Otherwise 2017 had the nice vibe I think…
But back then I looked rather the opposite, Firegoden, KuchenTV etc.
It was a good time, but in retrospect the videos from both parties were bad.

There were good things and bad things, now and then. I already found the 24h challenges cringing back then, mainly because you could easily see that they were fake.
And nowadays most reaction youtubers are just well, but there are also good ones who incorporate their own opinions and stories into reaction videos. As an example there's FlipFloid, who occasionally discuss their own thoughts about the video.
And you just have to find the good content, with people like BastiGHG you can find blatantly cut videos where you literally notice the effort
What I can recommend is Maximilian Pollux. That is also very violent. So where he tells his story. Preferably from the first episode
I'm not a fan of these storyteller channels, I can't treat myself to cheer up on the side
