I recently upgraded my CPU and graphics card. These are the RTX 2070 Super and the Ryzen 5 3600. In games like Valorant, Fortnite and Gta, both components are only used at 40 percent on low settings. But when the game gets more demanding it stays that way and I have to lose fps. Do I have to set my PC to high performance or is it possible that my CPU is getting too hot (currently still using the box cooler from Amd)?

Fortnite never uses your hardware more than 65%. Why? I don't know, but that's just the way it is.
You can change the priority of fortnite so fortnite can use more resources
